Two of our friends and their families hired a cabin in the Russian River this weekend, and invited us to go join them for the day. We got up bright and early Saturday morning and T and I (Tony was working).
We got up there and headed for breakfast in Guernville, and got to watch the parade afterwards, which was pretty cool, they had wild west shoot outs, cool floats and demonstrations, people throwing candy and last but not least, a water soaking display by the local fire company.
We then headed back to the cabin where the kids got into their swim suits and we let them play in the creek on the cabin property. They had lots of fun soaking each other, picking rocks etc.
Half way through the day, I started felling pretty nauseous and threw up, and shortly afterwards Tiernan had the worst explosive diarrhoea I have ever seen, so we cleaned up and headed home cutting our trip short.
We are still getting over the bug, but managed to get a few cute pictures of our half day of fun!
